After the 11:30 am Rally for Life, participants were welcome to join the Lobby for Life as we visited the legislators, sharing why this is the year to stop Public Funding of the Private Decision of Abortion.
The day of intense Lobbying is behind us, but the effort is not over. Now we need everyone possible, from through-out the state to contact their legislator, either at the Capitol, or in their home District Office to tell them Eliminate Abortion Funding. Use our talking points to help focus your call.
We're also looking for people to "Adopt a Lawmaker". We need people from the home districts to assist this effort by making direct contact with the legislators, asking that our tax dollars be spent on programs that provide a positive benefit. The time commitment is not significant, and you could be part of changing history for As Goes California, So Goes the Nation. We may be seeing the year when American finally stood up, the Silent Majority ceased to be silent and we said No More, Not Another Day, Not One More Dollar!
